Beschrijving: BOOKISH is a TV series set in 1946 in post-war London, starring Mark Gatiss. Known from such TV series as Sherlock (Mycroft Holmes), The League of Gentlemen, Games of Thrones (Tycho Nestoris), Mission Impossible - Dead reckoning part one, ... In addition, we also have Connor Finch, Elliot Levey, Polly Walker. It is directed by Carolina Giammetta, known for series The Drowning, Vera, Shakespeare & Hathaway, ...    

Synopsis: BOOKISH is the story of a 'gay detective' living in post-war London who helps the police solve a series of fascinating and complicated crime stories at a time when it was illegal to be gay. Book is our hero detective who owns a bookshop full of books that help him solve all crimes.

Profiel 1: We are looking for 2 WHITE, NATIVE BRITISH ENGLISH-SPEAKING WOMEN (1 x 25-35 years old and 1 x 50-70 years old) for featured extras part as customers in a butcher shop. You react to the fact 2 other costumers (main actors) pass you by. There's a line of dialogue for each customer therefore we need people who have a native British accent. As this is a period series, you also must meet all the following requirements:

• SIZES
• Height between 1m60 and 1m75
• Clothing size (ideally) between 34 and 40. For some characters we go to 42, maximum 44.
• Clothing sizes 34 to 40 = chest circumference between 78 and 93cm, waist between 60 and 77cm, hip circumference between 88 and 101cm.
• Clothing sizes 42 to 44 = chest circumference between 94 and 101cm, waist between 78 and 85cm, hip circumference between 102 and 107cm.

 

• HAIR
• For the ladies, natural hair colours. Highlights are allowed, as long as they look natural.
• Minimum length to the chin, preferably shoulder length, longer is allowed. But NO short cuts!
• No visible tattoos on hands, neck, arms, upper chest and lower legs.
• No permanent/tattoo make-up, eyelash extensions/botox lips, or facial piercings.
• No gel nails
• No extreme colouring in the hair

ADDITIONAL INFO - HOW DO I TAKE MY MEASUREMENTS?

• Please use a measuring tape.
• Chest circumference is measured at the level of your nipples.
• Waist is measured at navel level.
• Hip circumference is measured at the widest point of your bottom
• The 3 sizes are measured all around, so go completely around your body.

Kostuumpas: Costume fitting, by appointment, on Friday 19, Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 April in Hoboken (between 9 am and 6 pm). If you are booked, we will go over your options to come to the fitting.

Vergoeding: A fee of:

• 150 euros/person for the shooting day
• 30 euro/person for the costume fitting

These amounts include transport expenses
